I have a little bit here and there and have definitely liked what I’ve heard, but I’ve been busy doing other things while listening, so I haven’t paid the closest attention
Actually I think I’ll listen to a few tracks right now…

I really like this album. Perfect listening for a sunny afternoon, IMO.

^^that’s a sweet cover (Mule)
^another fail for Neal
edit - nevermind, it’s working now
edit2 - and how appropriate!
I had to modify it to get it to work.

i’ve been listening to these guys a lot after seeing them in ann arbour. think fast, precise early phish as a bluegrass/pop/undefinable band minus drums and there you’ve got what my impression of them was. good good good stuff.

^Isn’t that just Chris Thile and the How To Grow A Band?
yep. they just decided on a name. some kind of Twain reference i believe.
that kid is simply phenominal on the mando. i’ve never heard anyone come close.
Punch Bros is by far my favorite show I’ve seen this year!!!
I just got mailed a copy of the show I went to, haven’t had a chance to listen yet, but I bet it sounds really good. The venue was this tiny community center barn thing, prob. 250 people tops. Fucking fantastic show.
If he lets me id’ be happy to share his recording.
One more thing, when jambands.com was doing their year-end round of interviews and asking all kinds of questions, Mike Gordon said that the Punch Brothers were THE band that people should look out for in 2008. word Mike, word.

Just heard a few cuts from Coldplays new album, and although I haven’t really been a fan, the music was pretty good, especially the cut called Violet Hill.
i am not a Coldplay fan, but i’m a massive Eno fan. i think i might chceck this out.

Set 1:

I like " Time to Pretend"…

Tom Petty is effin’ AWESOME!!!

I know it sounds cliche’ but her voice is so pure it’s crazy to me… and just when it borders on shrill it takes a turn back to beautiful… I dig it, especially " A Case of You" and even though it’s not on “Blue”, “Both Sides Now” has been the only thing I’ve listened to for about 3 days now.
“Into Your Arms”- The Lemonheads
“Creator” and “L.E.S Artistes” - Santogold
'Supernatural Superserious"
“Orange Crush”
“E-Bow the Letter” { R.E.M
“All the way to Reno”
“Daysleeper”
and…

Don’t laugh… when it’s gorgeous outside and you’re driving with all the windows down going 60 (preferably towards a bar) this CD is the shizz for summer listening… so is this…

Buena Vista Social Club
don’t laugh? the Social Club is incredible!
i’ll fight whoever laughs.
