there are these two metallica tunes - I know, I can’t shut up about metallica - but there are these two ‘new’ tunes from a couple years ago. One is called “New Song” and the other is called “The Other New Song”. I understand they won’t be on the upcoming CD, but they’re rather good IMO. Best new Metallica in years … I like 'em both better than anything since at least Black Album. (Hey Prince has a Black Album too, they should fight it out. They’re both great albums too.)
So anyway yeah, these two tunes are awesome and I wonder if they’ve ever seen any type of official release. I got 'em from recording YouTube.
idk
but i think i’m going to go to the nov 9 show in columbus, oh
Off way early this Friday, and going to see a triple-bass-attack-on-the-head tonight (Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten, & Marcus Miller). This show happened right after the last time I have seen Clarke… so tonight shall be grand

their new album! it’s fantastic, i highly recommend it if you’re a Walkmen fan.
This is a cool song that I just recently discovered as a hidden track at the end of Jimmy Buffett’s Banana Wind CD. Stephen Stills is a bit chatty, but he sure can play that gee-tar. I was hoping that Gallagher would smash a watermelon before the song, but he had to get going to father children for famous lesbian couples.

Chopin was one angry young musician when he wrote and played most of his works. If you consider the time period, and the genre of popular music, he was like a pop hero. His attitude and spirit jumps off the keys when he’s played well, and Rubenstein was just the guy who could do that.

Great quality, stunning performance. SEt 1 with Scofield
