Like everyone here, my fav changes all the time.
I have always been a huge fan of PYITE. The first chord and my heart gets happier.

Mine is totally Ghost without even a single reservation. YEM may be the pre-eminent Phish song, but Ghost just kicks ass. They pretty much always jammed it out to some extent, too. I even like the perfunctory Halloween 98 version.

This is a tough question…one song eh? I’ve said this before in conversations with friends so I guess I’ll stick with it…Antelope.

The sheer joy for what is to come when I hear Trey’s opening guitar lick, the brilliant fill in the blank notes from Mike, Page’s lilting piano, the anticipation of the intro growing with Fish rolling on the hats and wood blocks, the launch into the main groove with those green and purple lights circling the arena (indoors…thanks Kuroda), the steady groove like a train chugging along, the build-up, build-up, build-up, build-up, the break, rye,rye,rye rocco…marco esquandolas…been you to have any spike…man, the build-up again…run, run, run…run like an antelope out of control! Whew!

Yup…Antelope is my favorite.

I can get it down to top three, I guess. Hood, Antelope, and YEM. The order changes daily, with Hood probably winning a slight majority of the time.

Its a close battle between YEM, Fluffhead, and Mike’s. Who am I kidding, its a close battle between pretty much every Phish song.

I think I can say Reba is my favourite…followed closely or equally by, The Curtain With and then YEM.
