im about to dl some shows what are some of your favorite dates. and whats your favorite year too. ive looked all the shows up and no wonder they went on hiatus, than “broke up” in the mid/late 90s i forget what years but they were pumpin out shows all year long. the year they went to europe and did that big ass rour than came right back to the states for a full summer tour here. the boys were troopers. i hoppe they still got it like they did. and im sure they will. theres nothin like a phish show. nothin. i remember back when i was in highschool. last minute (well like the tuesday before i got hooked up with both us bank arena tickets(one sat. was even floor) face value. and i had so mech fun that weekend, when i came back i was like in depression or somethin. nothing was fun. nothing could amount to the marvelous, stupendous, wonderful (cant realy find a word to describe it) time. everything was boring. i mean we were hostin a nitrous party one night. hade kegs liquor girls everything, and me and my buddy were throwin the party so we were like the center of attention u know, but i kept thinkin “man this is lame, i wanna be with phish.” i really wanna follow em on a tour. ive never done more than 2-3 venues in a row. but tickets r gay as hell now to get. and the best part about goin to a show is GOIN to the show. plus i dont have a car anymore, i just wrecked it a coupple months ago. i love phish so much. ive evan seen them sober, and still felt like i was high as fuck! just off the vibes. i thought “yeah this is it. this is where i belong” but ive been on probation for the last bunch of years and now im finaly off. noone to answer to. and i really want to tour. i wish this tour was longer. hopefully there will be a fall or winter. here i am ramblin on and on. and all i opened this thread for was to get some tips on fire shows. im gonna open a new tour story thread. mabey find someone to tag along with and make my summer dream come true!!! but for real though favorite shows?
Summer of '94 (some of the best shows ever)!!! Check out Big Birch 7/13/94 2nd set (I think one of Phish’s best sets). I am parshal to it because I was front row and melting.
7/8/94 Greatwoods (mind was melting that night also).
December '95 will always be my favorite month because it was what started my obsession. 12/29 is insane, and the whole month is jam packed with awesome shows, 12/08 and 12/11 are also awesome, the only thing is I cannot find a good recording of 12/11 but it is a very fun show.
Paragraphs are helpful…
Dec '95 and Fall '97 are my favorites.

I would hit up the Europe Summer Tour of 1997. Possibly my favorite tour ever.

DOWNLOAD ALL AT ONCE OR I SHALL SLAY YOUR FACE. WHICH IS WHAT PHISH WOULD DO IF YOU GOT THESE
To me, this is SOOOO easy. One of the easiest questions in Phishtory. '97. Easy. '99 and '98 come next. But '97 towers above all, it is the supreme, almighty Phish being.
94 and 97
'94 is my favorite because they play the composed songs, which I consider Phish’s crowning achievement, so perfectly. Check out 6/11/94 and 6/18/94 (RR and Chicago).
'98 would be a close second because they got the funk down pat in '97 and then in '98 they built on it and brought it up to its full potential.
