What show are you listening to right now?

7-29-03

Trey - 11.19.05, just downloading it as we type. This is the first I’ve heard his new stuff live other than attending one show. (11.18.05 which isn’t available for download on livephish.com and I don’t have the patience for etree).

Only complaint is you can’t hear the keys for shit.

Haven’t listened to jam bands in awhile, but I’m currently rocking the Particle 12/29/03 Pink Floyd cover show along with Umphrey’s 2/7/04 that I was recommended. Letcha know how they sit with me.

12-8-94 fresh picked from the tree. Very good show.

Makisupa opener basically sets the groove for the first set.
Simple>Catapult>Lizards is the definite highlight of the first set. Very very nice Lizards.

Set two opens with a spacy (silent jam?) Possum, that goes off above 15 minutes.
The Reba is just absolutely sick, and probably the best part of the show. Beginning is standard, nothing flubbed, but the jam rivals many of the heavy hitters.

Add a really nice encore (Horse>Silent, Rocky Top), and you have yourself one good looking show.

I was listening to 12.29.98 set two for the first time earlier and holy shit that 2001 is sweet. the first five minutes is an ambient jam that is so sweet

First day of Oswego second set. Some of the funkiest Phish EVA!

How’s the quality of ur copy??? That’s the 17th right?

B+

11/04/90- Fort Ram

The hood is excellent.

1994-11-26 my freind opener, now on guyute!

Mike makes me cream my pants every time i hear that jam, that line he comes up with about 2 mins into the jam is unparalleled by anything ive ever heard. simply incredible, trey shreds it teh fuck UP at the end too.

80’s phish!!! can’t get enough and i don’t care about sound quality. right now im listening to:
12/1/84
5/3/85
4/29/87
3/12/88

great show! and it was on my birthday too…my 15th, and i had no idea who phish was back then. would have been a good first show to be at in my hometown…

finished new years 96 last night.

good show, definitley down on the list as far as new years phish shows, but whatever…

third set was the best, high energy, jammed out dwd to start off 97. the antelope was also nuts, everyone was tearin it up. then of course, boston community choir on bohemian rhapsody, julius, and amazing grace to wrap it up. sweet show.

^^ I loved this night more than most but i do agree 3rd set is thee one. Do you hear the Don’t stop til you get enoughteases in the PYITE first set. I am a big Michael jackson fan and that really was atreat for me to hear. The Peaches that follwed was quite good too! But yes during Bohemian was one of only 3 occasions i cried at a Phish show. The other’s were both at Shoreline when Phil was playing the Bass Duet with Mike and after YEM for the pre-hiatus show a year later.

Right now i am listening to set 1 of 7-12-00. 3rd day of Deer Creek. The first Curtain with since the 80’s. My boy Kenny and i felt real old as we were one of the only groups of peeps around that knew what it was. Some kid came up to me and asked why i was so excited and i tried to explain about the whole pre-Riff Curtain with thing before i just stopped myself and said why am i not listening to this just to explain it to another fan? He was pissed when i would not explain further but oh well!

yeah man that weekapaug and Llama are both rippin’

7.10.99 Camden- CHALK DUST
Got this version off of BigDUDES YSI thread. HOLY SHIT. I am just reaching Trey’s UNBELIEVABLE riffs to go along with Fish’s perfect complimentary drumming.

spartanburg 10-29-94

Really high energy show, the YEM is amazing, they should’ve put this version on ALO. Also, this is the first time that a Rift really did it for me. Nice, standard Hood to close the show - nothing special though.

Since hearing this, I have become very much partial to 94, the jams are exploratory, and they have a certain energy, one lacking from 96 onwards I feel.

life i love that 2nd set monkey.

11-19-97…A very bad-ass show. The drawn out 2001 (17:28) to open Set 2 is great.
