i really dig that bathtub in the first set. and the Tweezer->Soul Shakedown->Bowie is some of my favorite post-hiatus for sure. can’t beat it.
the show in my cd player in my car right now is 6.28.00! The end of this set (gin piper if I could) has the band picking up ALOT of steam. We’ve all heard about the gin jam (disco/rock/rage), but I love pipers like this that just rage and then fade out peacefully.
after midnight reprise, cypress, the last few minutes are just amazing…

finally got 12/6/96…that is the craziest encore ever (next to 12/30/97 of course). Harpua > Suzy with Larry and Les…DAMN its good!!! They need to release this officially…a DSBD would be killer. That Suzy is ridiculous…Larry and Trey trading licks, Mike and Les bass thumpin’!!!
