What show are you listening to right now?

bigb, I love that show…

if I have a bunch of random shows in… that cavern-wilson always messes with me when im not expecting it!

I really don’t know what I’m listening to right now, its the GDLIVE.COM phish radio, which I sometimes prefer to the phish.com one if only because its not so much Trey solo shit; Its all phish. Right now its Mikes Song and a killer one at that…I’m really not sure. If I had to guess I would say 98 or 99, I think its the start of this show, but I really can’t be positive, I will figure it out with the use of the Phish Stats site.

Anyone else ever use the GDLIVE phish radio? Its all audience recordings, I think, and this one’s a little sketchy, but a good show nonetheless.

OK I’ve got it 7/14/00. Mikes > Frankie Says > Bowie?!!! That’s fucking nuts.

Solid show all around.

When they opened the last set of Oswego with My Soul my friend looked at me and said, “Did Rich Kotite pick the opener?”

If you don’t get this, well…

Today I’ll be listening to all of 7.11.00 for both historical purposes (5 years ago today!!) and personal reasons (this show was my first show and subsequently changed my life FOREVER). I’ll never forget being completely blown away at the lot scene, shakedown street, the venue, the music, the people, EVERYTHING.

Thank you, Phish, for making that Tuesday night a night that I will NEVER forget

Do you even have the Book?

To tell the truth, I don’t, but all the info you need is on the internet at this point.

To get back to the point though, My Soul’s a pretty rockin’ number. 6\

10-31-98… Set 3 / Encore

Just got to the “Esther” section of “Wolfman’s”… I think I am still in “Wolfman’s”… I am sooooo lost. This is going well with some after-work tokage.

^ Nice…afterwork tokes…I think i might just take off out of here and do that. I’ve got 7/9/03 in my car…I’m really not sure what to make of it. That YEM was sloppy as all hell, but the Simple was grand.

I don’t smoke nearly as much now as when I was in school, but the show I listened to the most when I was baked was probably, in all honestly, 8.13.96 Deer Creek, disc 2. Straightforward “wall of sound” jamming. Great to BLAST in your car! Of the non-offical releases, I play 7.12.00 Deer Creek quite a bit, too!

That ‘Wolfman’s’ is truly amazing on anything. I feel the same way about the 10/30/98 set two. It rages for awhile and then cools off into a chilled out, playful jam. 10/30/98 eventually heads into ‘NICU’ whereas the Wolfman’s eventually segues masterfully into ‘Piper.’
Damn, I need to listen to that again…

sts9 4-08-2004. sorry to post about a non-phish band, but people need to listen to these guys! i have a phish show up next from 5-26-1989. solid throughout, one of the best early hoods to close it out.

7-31-97.

Ghost->Ya Mar->Dogs Stole Things to open the show.

Doesn’t look like much maybe, but when I just heard the Ya Mar jam, I will never look at the song the same way again. I got completely lost in the jam, forgot which song it was, then they tease the main theme again and I realize what I just listened to. Crazy

Just popped in 12.30.97 II

i LOVE ;D this “Bag” opener…the funk is so thick you have to put on boots to wade through it
