This is just a well played, great show…I love Olivia’s Pool. DWD>Piper >DWD is phenomenal!
I’m also listening to Les Claypool’s Bucket of Bernie Brains set from Bonnaroo 2002…really sick and creative jamming…get it on nugs.net!
6-19-04…piper…kind of face melting…

7.2.97 Amsterdam
Finally I was able to get these shows over the weekend. WOWWWWWWWWW. Wormtown. Listening to the end of the first set right now. Weekapaug…and Page is absolutely working the Clav. Soooo funky. Can’t wait to get into second set with the 30 minute Stash and Wormtown Jam.
Now I know why so many people love '97. Whooooooooo eeeeeeee.
^where did you get this show? is it up on etree??
New Years Eve '95. I love that show so much. Its so good all together, but I have to say my favorite song would be Mike’s Song.
7/17/98 … great first set, and you can’t beat that second set …
^nice, i’ve got that one lined up for when i get home from work
I’m listening to my first red rocks phish show ever!! Its 6.9.95. Pretty standard setlist, and I’ve only made it about half way through the first set, but I’m liking it. I hope to get both the 93 and 94 red rocks shows through trades very soon.
Last night I went to bed listening to the second disc of (second set as well) of 7-8-94 Great Woods. So, this morning when I was getting dressed I put on the Reba from the second set. This was the song, a few years back, when I ‘got it’. This is one of my personal favortie Reba’s and one of the best. It was such a great way to start the day. I had a great day, and I blame it on the Reba. So, if you have this show, give it a listen when you start your day tommorrow.

^ i just listened this show…thanks to goldphish. that reba is the shit indeed. i loved that whole 2nd set…the yem > frankenstein > yem was awesome to hear. ;D
^ I can’t even begin to say what a treat it was to hear that when I first woke up. Just put me in a great mood and realize how good life can be and what Phish does for me. Just a fucking awesome feeling.
I’m doing a '95 marathon. I figured I have all these shows, might as well listen to them. I started in the beginning of the year of shows I have already on CD.
6/20
“Llama”, “Spock’s” opener as I mentioned before in a different thread.
Nice Mike’s Groove.
Nothing rediculous really, but an all around good show.
6/26
“Bathtub Gin” really stands out to me. First entering the jam they are in some really weird groove. It sounds familiar… But I can’t place it. Then when the song is winding down they go right into the same exact groove, I think just to mess with my head.
“Its Ice”>“Dog Faced Boy” has turned my head around to “DFB”. I used to loathe this song… But between this and the 11/14/95 Stash, I am really beginning to like that “Dog Faced Boy”.
The second set is what sets this show apart from others in my eyes.
“DWD”->“Free” is just mind blowing. Completely underrated I think.
“YEM” is scary, with a nasty scatting vocal jam which was actually listenable without being there.
And who doesn’t want some “Antelope” to finish it off?
10/11
Currently listening, so I am not too far.
The “Stash” to open the show is electrifying. Pure Phish jamming right out of the gate.
The rest of the first set plays out on its own, nothing that really stands out from the rest.
Just starting set two now… Looks like a good one!
I’m doing 11/10/95 right now…Sweet YEM so far… I’ve started set II first and am totally digging it…“Cranking up vol. for YEM” Sweet!
10/11/95 Set Two
Out of this world. Made me listen to it twice. Close to perfection.
Possum>Bathtub featured some masterful work by one Page.
MikeS>McGrupp>Weekapaug is the stuff dreams are made of… hahaha that just came to me…
The real kicker is the Suzy>Crossroads.
The Suzy contained Crossroads and Sunshine of Your Love jams/teases throughout, VERY entertaining version. I sometimes get bored with Ms. Greenberg, but NOT this time!
6.11.94 Set Two
Just grabbed off etree and am just finishing the SOAMule -> SOAMelt. Lovin’ it.
^
Mule>Melt…DAMN that sounds like it coud contain some fun playing from the boys.
