What would you Dance to?

We did Boogie on Reggae Woman for the garter toss.

The girl who helped us plan our reception did their slow dance to Waste.

BBFCFM

Once again the only choice is FEFY. Don’t listen to these fools!

Throw in some “Standing On The Moon” if there will be wooks about.

/Phish fail

My Friend My Friend

I would like TMWSIY for the procession part…I don’t think she will agree though, I can only go so far  but as a wedding song to dance to i like the ideas!

Yea i’m thinking not…lol! Give an inch they take a mile.

I gave some good Phish songs earlier. The truth is Jerry singingt Standing On The Moon is about as romantic as it gets.

I kinda like Peggy-O myself.

/2nd Phish fail

No doubt, I love Standing on the Moon.

But no where was GD mentioned… not everybody likes them.

At Vegas 1993, I watched a couple get married before the show at Sam Boyd Silver Bowl. Jerry came out and played Peggy-O for them. But… Since that’s a Dylan tune…Greatful Dead/Fail.

So I will stick with Llama Chicken Dance.

Peggy-O, AKA Fennario, is a traditional Scottish folk tune by the name “The Bonnie Lass o’ Fyvie”

At my wedding, we introduced the wedding party to “First Tube”. Funny as hell, there was classical music playing when they were announcing the parents, grandparents, etc…
But when they announced wedding party, they kicked into First Tube, and you can see on our video, everyone in the wedding party just start getting down!

And as for other Phish and our wedding, well Drifting and Waste both made appearances in our wedding video. Drifting was in the middle, and the “closing credits” and baby pictures were shown to Waste.

So yeah, to answer the original question, it would have to be BBFCFM!

Stop raining on my parade, Will.

“Drifting” is pretty sweet, Chris!

when i got married our wedding song was waste.

i actually used the livephish version from 8/13/96. it was great!

I kissed a girl, 8/16/09

If I could…I would…

I don’t know… FEFY and If I Could both seem to be about love falling short. Not sure they would be a good choice for a wedding song.
