So I went to this kick ass party last weekend called Theatre Bizarre. www.theatrebizarre.com , and it was sweet.

I went as the “Death of America”

It was essentially, an Uncle Sam outfit, you know, the blue coat with tails, red and white striped pants, top hat and beard.

But THEN…

I added a bunch of blood and monster make up, fake scars and what not…

AND THEN!!..

I had some face plastic chains that I snagged from a Jacob Marley costume and attached some balls and chains from a prison outfit and wrote the following on the balls:

-“AIG”
-“W”
-“Wall Street”
-“War on Terror”

And a few others.

It was pretty kick ass.

This local magazine took pictures of me and i am going to be in the next issue.

I’m going to be a bridesmade for Halloween.
Because my friend is getting married on Halloween and I’m in the wedding party.
My dress is beautiful actually, I just got to try it on last night all altered and stuff.
But damn…300 down the tube for a dress. that price includes alterations. Hopfully I’ll be winning an Emmy one day so I can wear it again!

I’m stumped too. My brother and I have a gig and really need to figure out a costume.

He suggested Sonny and Cher, so I was like, “I dunno, I see where this is goin … I have the long hair so I’ll be the one who has to be Cher, right?”

He goes, “I was hoping … uh I mean, assuming it’d be me” :smiley:

And I said, “Oh sure, make ME be Sonny.” :smiley:

Really though, we’re performing so it needs to be something not stupid. So, yeah. We’re screwed, have zero good ideas.

i usually just throw together some random things and make up my own character. for instance:

one sheet + a dressy kind of hat + a tie + a briefcase = ghost going to work. easy.

i’m thinking of painting my face and arms in all kinds of crazy colors and patterns, tying my hair back in a bandana (worn willie nelson/rambo style), ripping the sleeves off a shirt and writing “Deliver Me From Reasons Why” on the front of it with splattered paint EVERYWHERE and going as a demonic psychadelic astro zombie warrior from the deepest crevasse of your own inner fears.

or as Batman.

the real question is what is THAT costume gonna be this year?

for instance, THAT costume last year was Michael Vick with some kind of pit bull stuffed animal tied up to you somehow. And two years ago it was going as Steve Irwin with a stingray tail sticking out of your chest.

So what is THAT guy gonna dress up as THIS year?

I’m not going to any parties this year or anything, but I have a Freddy Kreuger mask with a matching knives hand glove that he wore. I wear it every year to pass out candy. It looks so freaky that when I open the door to pass out the candy, some of the kids start crying!! I have to take the mask off and say “no it’s not real, just a mask”!! I’m also a mark for playing the scary sounds tape out the window as they walk up to the door.

ha ha, i used to set up my amp near the window and play some evilesque odd effect guitar noises at the kiddies when they’d walk up the driveway, like some heavy distortion delay, phaser/flanger noise or something, whatever sounded scary and crazyi had to stop though as one year most of the kids would make it halfway to the door then decide to turn around, was great for me as a teen b/c then i had candy without having to trick or treat
