What's the BIG deal about Myspace?

Call me old, call not with the times, call whatever you want, but is the deal of having a Myspace page? This whole month I kept running into people asking me, ‘‘do you have a Myspace page?’’ "No’’ "Oh…’’

I am 31 years old, aint’ I too old to be on Myspace? Isn’t that for 15 year olds?

What’s Myspace do anyway? How would I benefit from it?

MySpace probably wouldn’t benefit you all that much. Facebook on the other hand… maybe.

If you’re a 31 year old married man with kids, I wouldn’t say that Facebook would be for you, but even so, it could be. It is a great tool to use to re-connect with people you’ve lost touch with over the years. MySpace isn’t really like that… it had that original intent, but that got lost along the way with all the 15 year olds. Facebook still holds that professional type thing…

I have a Facebook, not a MySpace. My Facebook is GREAT for meeting people in college.

Well, I am not married I have a daughter and have no desire to meet 15 year olds.

I am not so sure of re connecting part, I really don’t know anyone I would want to
re connect with from my past.

I guess, I am not messing out after all. I do have a blog but, just a way to write my thoughts and not for meeting people.

What the hell is facebook anyway?

Lots of music/bands have a MySpace. Good place to hear music you may not be able to hear elsewhere.

I prefer my log. Yes. Nothing like a good ole’ hunk of wood to keep you and your missus cozy.

As far as connecting with my past… I don’t look for it… when the time comes I’m sure it’ll be there to causes me some grief. :-/

So ummm… I guess I’ll stick with my spam filled email.

you can see what happened to all those random faces you kind of remember from high school.

and also, you can keep tabs on old friends that you’ve lost touch with so when you finally see them again its not the least bit exciting of interesting because you know exactly what’s happening in their life and you can figure out exactly what all you friends think of you and anything else, quick and easy check if that girl considers what you have a “relationship” or if she’s left you for someone else.

Its kind of like living in the world but without all the silly surprises and romance and excitement.

I do not have a Myspace or a Facebook.

But it is good for checking out bands and streaming free music of your choice so I have an alternate e-mail registered for that stuff.

I use it to organize college meet-ups.

It’s like an easy-to-use directory of sorts.

i created a facebook recently, for the above mentioned reasons

I started a myspace page a while back as a joke to waste some time.

I added in my hobbies and interests, and a ridiculous picture of me with a moustache.

A week later I had forgotten the password and I’ve never gone back. Oh well.

I use myspace to find pretty girls and then stalk them to no end.

but that’s just me.

and thats why is such a BIG DEAL!

aint gon lie…i have facebook…and get on it too much…

Oh, Spooks…if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn’t be more surprised than I am now.

If y’all have a facebook account, don’t forget to join the OKP facebook group.

I don’t have a Facebook account, I didn’t even know there was a OKP Facebook group!

did not realise there was one. interesting… very interesting…

Stalking, it’s all about the stalking. Anything else and you’re probably lying to yourself.

i’m on the facebook oh kee pa group thingy, funky told me about it, so there I be

I like myspace for promoting my shows, and thats about it. As someone who gets paid to fill rooms I appreciate this tool. If I didn’t have to find 500 people every two weeks to watch live music, I probably wouldn’t use my myspace at all.

I hope you’ll all sign up to this new site. I think we could make it rock!
