The history of The Oh Kee Pa is a rich one full of heroes and villains, peril and triumph.
The OKP was created by Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus in 2004, but didn’t really gain much traction until mid 2005, when .net promoted the site. There was a time when The OKP was a thriving society with scores if not hundreds of members who were active. There are only a handful of surviving members.
But we still have a good time, goof around, do show meetups and shit like that.

Kinda thought it was around before then but I guess not. Either way, it’s certainly more peaceful than most DBMBs.
I still feel nostalgia for the days of old OKP. I used to come here multiple times a day, now it’s like once a month. I love popping in, I should do it more.

In an entirely unrelated matter, now that I’m among the gainfully retired, Marie and I will be taking a 10 week course, 90 minute classes once a week on Thursday mornings, on the Twilight Zone.
One episode of the week will be shown to the class with discussions about it to follow. It comes through a Rutgers extension program and will be given in Bruce’s hometown of Freehold NJ.
Can’t wait. Want to do some reading up on Serling before it begins on the 30th of August.
