I believe it is a traditional run of shows at the Beacon Theatre in NY that the Allmans do.

I feel like I’m missing out by never listening to ABB, and not trying to see them live.
I’m sure they are still a pretty damn good live act.
^^You’re missing out BIG TIME. They don’t just roll out their greatest hits. I’ve seen them many times and there’s always a few songs where I have no idea what they are. Plus it always amazes me that half of the band is pushing 60 yet they have no problem rolling out a three hour show with no breaks. Just awesome.

Yeah, I’m the same with Trucks. He never tours around here. I’ve seen him three times…once with Phil and a few times with the Allmans. Ya’ll can say what you want about Betts but I’ll take Trucks instead.
Funny story…the first time I saw him I had front row for Phil and he came up before any of the other band members and picked up his guitar and started noodling and tuning it. I TOTALLY thought he was just some roadie touring the guitar…especially since he looks so young and had that typical ponytail-look of a roadie. Then the rest of the band showed and started playing and I was like “Why’s the roadie not leaving the stage??” Of course, once he started busting some solos he sure showed me…
