Notes: This single-set performance was part of the 1st annual Doctor Badgely’s Music Festival that also featured My Morning Jacket, Alice Cooper, Megadeth, Jim Rose, and Pearl Jam. Runaway Jim featured guest appearances by Jim James playing on a bongo and Alice Cooper standing onstage with a python around his neck. Antelope was much longer than usual, with an atypical jam as the Jim Rose sideshow did all kinds of crazy shit onstage. God yeah. I was very very very lucky. I can’t take credit for being some kinda savvy music explorer and discovering them so early … my brother made me go & I didn’t even wanna. I’ve thanked him many times too! I hope they release some early shows on DVD someday. There’s gotta be footage.

I’m blown away by him being at 12-31-92. That’s one of my favorite shows to listen to. Forbin’s AND Harpua in one show? Thank you, may I have another!
^No shit. I’m still blown away. One of my favorite Phish shows to listen to still, and it was the first live recording I ever got (they broadcast it the next day!).
That was my wife’s first show, 12-31-92. In fact we were dating, and still had yet to break up and get back together before we got married. There was a lot to do back then. Think of it, I’ve done like 17 years worth of stuff since then.
