And why are they always on my Sirius 17 Jam on station. Are these guys any good? Where are they from? Should I give them a chance?
i think they suck.
^^Tea Leaf is one of your generic type jam bands. There’s really not a lot about them that’s special in any way, they just try to sound like Phish, in my opinion.
^And I agree, they do suck.
^^And I don’t know why they’re always on Sirius 17. Most likely because 17 has the worst group of radio DJ’s on Sirius. For example, every time there’s new news on Trey, that Stef Scamardo chick always chooses to play Shine. I mean give me a fucking break.
yeah, i despise that station.
yeah, I hate how they say “jam on” all the damn time.
pretty lame station.
not too sure about TLG. I’ve heard a song or two and wasn’t impressed.
Saw em live. Nothin special!
^^Yeah, and how come the so called “Phish Hour” only has stuff from the 20 Live Phish releases. Lame.
i have a live album called “rock n roll band” that i think is pretty good. nothing mind blowing, but some good tunes.
Their “jams” are nothing special, but they’ve got some okay songs like Sex in the 70’s…actually that’s all I can think of, but it’s a pretty good tune.
Yeah Jam on has it’s negatives, but it plays some good shit. I mean at least give it up to Sirius for giving the jam band scene a station. Then they added the Grateful Dead channel. I rarely stray away from Channel 32. Yeah I do listen to the Phish hour, but it is always the live phish series stuff or stuff released via live phish. I wish they would play some audience recordings like the Grateful Dead Channel does.
I was just curious because Tea Leaf Green is on their every time I listen to the channel it seems. It doesn’t really catch my ear either. Just curious if I was missing anything.
