wierd… never heard of these trees until i read this thread… then tonight i found myself sitting underneath one to watch fireworks. gross.

anyway, i think Bradford pear trees also smell like this…except it’s in the spring when they bloom, not in the summer.

They have “jizz trees” (as we call them) aplenty down here in Georgia. They’re some kind of white tree that really does indeed smell like it, and it’s vile, and I don’t like them.
