Widespread Tonight in Raleigh, NC

I’m getting ready to hop in my car and head down for the show… any other OKP’rs gonna be there?

It’s about a 5 hour drive from my house to the venue, but I figured it was just the nice little road trip I needed these days.

The lot should be nice, the weather is perfect and I’m sure the boys are gonna kick ass. I’ll be sure to bring my camera to document the trip and the show ( If I can get the camera in…) for the day in the life thread… I should get some good ones.

hope all are having a breezy Saturday…

I lived in Raleigh two years ago…when Panic was on hiatus. Damn, I wish I lived there right now…

Sweet! Hope you have fun momma!

that sounds like a ball.

wheres the heady review?

I heard Dave Schools brought Moma up on stage, and they had dueling pantless bass solos…

Thats just what I heard though.

I heard mike played chess with wsp and wsp cheated

HEY! I’m trying to get y’all a setlist… I know they played Ride Me High, Hatfield, Imitation Leather shoes, Rebirtha but not in that order… and many more. I’ll return with a full list soon.

the show was awesome and I was thinking it was going to take me all of 5 hours to get down there but it really only took me three so that was great. I got there, parked walked around the lot a bit ( btw the pavilion actually had official alltel banners made up that said “shakedown Street” … I thought that was pretty cool…), I smoked a bowl, got a fajita wrap from a girl selling them on shakedown… and by then it was time for the show.

Now all the way down to Raleigh it rained on us… a horrible rain, sideways, turn on your hazards kind of rain…but when we got to Walnut creek it was beautiful. When I had bought the tix it said that they were seats, so naturally I thought they were under the pavilion - not so. About three songs into the first set, it starts drizzling and then the raindrops get fatter anf fatter until it’s fully poring down. We decided to go up a few rows in the aisle to where it was covered and ride out the rest of the show there.

All in all it was a great time. Road trips are always refreshing and to take one to see a great band just makes that even more true.

P.S - The dualing pantless bass thing actually did happen… in my mind. LOL

Moma

Blackout Blues is awesome. I love that song. Hatfield and Ride me High are two of my favorites also.

^ Nice call Pgec3…

I downloaded the show and have been listening to it out by the pool, in the sunshine…with a cold lager or two. It sounds totally fat and the setlist is awesome. They are top notch players at the top of their game. Nice Sam Holt cameos and George is on-fire yet again.

Looks like another stellar year for PANIC! The Home Team is back fro 06!!!

It truly was a killer show… I’m glad I decided to go…

thanks for hookin up the setlist wiily b…

This show looks sweet…I can’t wait to d/l. That’s awesome to see Keane sit in for Blue Indian. I love that tune.
