I’ve never even heard an HDCD…what do you need to listen to one of those?
somebody should loan me $99.
i know i know. Here comes Will with his etrees and everything.
but you gotta know that these GD archival releases really are where its at.
I hear the SBD’s are up on etree
^ Correct, and one of them has been edited by Charlie Miller, so it actually doesn’t get much better than that. Apparently the others are pretty good too. Plus they are all hetty fresh sbds.

You are so cut off!
you don’t have what it takes!
I’m all over this…getting ready to preorder mine once I quit messing around on the board…I missed out on the 2005 box set from 69 no way am I missing this one.
Yeah saw the etree torrents…could care less I’m getting the real deal.
Was 1973 a good year for the Grateful Dead?

Got my order in. Now just to wait patiently. Wish they were a little more certain when they would be shipping instead of stating this:
The Winterland 1973 box sets are currently in production and we will start getting them to you as soon as we can make sure they
Got mine in the mail and am finishing off the set with Disc 9. I’ve listened to all the other discs and this set is sweetness. I definitely recommend you guys throwing down a hundy for this. I’m sure Charlie’s recordings are sweet and all, but these are perfect and I’m funny about this kinda shit.
I purposely didn’t download 7/6/98 from etree because I wanted to throw down $20 to the band. I know weird, but I feel it’s the right thing to do plust you can’ t beat the sound quality. Although everyone is saying that 7/6/98 circulating has great sound.
Anyways buy this set!!! Well worth it!!! I still consider $10 per CD a good deal although a lot of heads are bitching about it on dead.net. Can’t please everyone I guess.
I want it so bad that my chest and left arm hurt.
No No. That’s just a heart attack…
