World Clock website (pretty interesting stuff)

Hey so my bro in law just sent me this link

click on the Now button and see how many people are born/die and other things in real time

crazy shit, we need people to stop procreating like jack rabbits before all our natural resources run up

or for more people to kick the can instead of living in a diseased state for 20 years (got to love modern medicine throwing off mother nature)

enjoy

cool! Thanks!

glad you took a look at it, it is very interesting stuff

just click on that Now button and watch the numbers climb

I love stuff like this. Technology kicks ass!

what’s realy crazy to me is that the number of abortions in the past year/month/week/day/now whatever is almost equal to the number of deaths.

so if we didnt have abortions, then the number of births would increase by almost hte number of deaths.

I think it’s important to point out the note on the side that says essentially that this is not accurate. It is based on past stats and estimates and provides no details about what reports these stats or estimates are taken from. It’s just a bunch of guess work on someone’s part, and the only thing that is in real time is the clock. If you like watching a bunch of numbers turn over than check out this site, but using it in terms of quoting any kind of real data is just wrong.

either way the amount of people being born each year is greater than the amount of people dying

im sure that statistic is out there, but then again that isn’t accurate either, b/c there are still areas that wouldn’t report a death or a birth

so… take it for what you will, still interesting and activates the mind

^ That’s true that the worlds population is growing, there is no denying that, but I’m just saying that it’s not like literally that many people are born every second. Even though it may have historically averaged out to be that so many people are born every second, it’s just averages and historical trends that it’s showing you, and not actual census numbers because it would not go up by the same amount per second or hour or week or however you want to look at it. That’s why I think the site is a little misleading and completely inaccurate.

Why did you have to go and crush my hopes and dreams, Devin?

i think what GR is trying to say is that births and deaths only happen between certain hours in the day.

its not an all day thing, people.
