those old-man breathes that McCain takes in between sentences is indeed quite annoying, I’m not sure that I can take 4 years of listening to that man talk. He’s got the old-man whistle on his words to go along with it too!
That really was one of the most boring debates I ever saw. I cannot see much difference between the two, either one will be bad for the country. And McCain really has to stop saying “My friends…”, just as Obama needs to stop saying “Change” and Palin needs to stop saying “Hockey mom”. Biden should just stop talking period, since just about everything out of his mouth is just plain stupid.
btw, McCain won the 1st debate, Obama won tonight’s debate. McCain is sure coming off as an overly cocky, arrogant, know-it-all during a time when our country is really fucked. If he’s been such a know-it-all crusader in politics for the last 26 years, than why is our country so fucked now? I know the Bush administration played the huge role in ruining so much, but what exactly did Mr. experienced John McCain do all this time to prevent the current state that the country is in? He brags about working with Joe Lieberman on some climate bill that failed, well fuck that short-term shit, I got sunscreen for the meantime, how about warning and preventing all the damage that Bush did if he is a so-called Maverick. The McCain/Palin ticket is becoming easier and easier to ignore come election day.

the way I understand is, all the people that lost their homes are STILL shit-out-of-luck homeless, but the mortgage giants have been refunded with this bailout money in order to issue all new loans to prospective buyers in order to move the homes under their dime that were left by the incompetence of the former homeowner, who after all of this, is still fucked.

on a funny note, i heard some audio today of Sarah Palin at a town congressional meeting from before she was selected for VP. nowhere was the cutsieness and folkisms and the Fargo accent. even her VOICE is an act. oh gosh-golly, say it ain’t so!
well I disagree but what I meant was McCain says that he will ‘fix’ this government that is really fucked, yet he has been apart of watching the growth and decline of the US government for the last 26 years. If he’s the super-smart maverick, why didn’t he do more to stop the decline of the government and the country? That’s like a promoting the offensive coordinator to head coach of a team that has had a horribly bad losing record for the last 8 seasons but says he knows how to fix what is wrong. Um, hello, you could have helped to do that during all your years of so-called reform in the US Senate.

ok everyone here we go, we’re gonna have a real “Town Hall” meeting about all this with “real” American people and get all the tough issues out front in the open.
Ok, so here’s how we’re gonna do it:
-We’re gonna have our two candidates (yes, only two because everybody in America is either on one side or the other). One of them is going to be standing there with a red tie on and the other is gonna be standing there with a blue tie on.
-We’re gonna have a small, intimate crowd of carefully chosen “citizens” and we’re going to sit them down in an order that makes them appear diverse; having a young black guy sitting next to a middle aged white war veteran next to an environmentalist lesbian, etc…
-All these “citizens” are going to get up and ask these tough “questions” that they totally made up all by themselves on the spot so that the candidates have no idea what hit them. (All the while, the actual “Free Speech Zone” will be located in a fenced off designated area no closer than 1.5 miles from the venue for anybody with a real question who wants to continue to be ignored)
-The candidates are then going to answer the questions at great length as if they totally didn’t have prepared statements for each question that totally weren’t shown to them and their advisers ahead of time and Tom Brokaw is gonna tell them to calm down as if they’re “really flying off the handle” and they’re all going to act like this is a serious on the spot debate between two intelligent men (and whenever it actually starts to turn into a real debate between two intelligent men, Tom Brokaw will inform them that they are out of time and must move on to the next “totally spontaneous question”
-American society will continue to be the laughing stock of the rest of the world

In all my years of participating in the presidential election process I have never been more discouraged by the candidates and the political process behind them. The voter fraud that is already underway in several states isn’t even covert anymore. Tony Romo, a homeless illegal immigrant in Nevada is registered to vote along with his cousin Terrell Owens. It would really be funny if it weren’t so pathetic.
Until we take any chance of gaining power and profit away from our elected officials, we are doomed as a nation.
^^^i can’t explain how fully i agree with you. the whole capatalistic model has become a monster grown out of control, and it’s imploding from it’s own cancerous mass. i actually look at the collapse as a good thing, because i believe it’s the end for this particular paradime. we, the people of the earth, have the desire and the means to live life based not on greed, war and government rule, but instead on basic human decency. we have the technology and the recources to feed, clothe and house every single human being. we could end poverty. we could end hunger. we could end crime. and we could end the capatalistic slave model of reality. at least that’s what i believe.
