It’s worth a shot!
That is my favorite deoderant!
I didn’t know I was trolling. I haven’t ripped on the Bulls in a while but I’d be happy to so I can truly earn the title.
And what’s so great about pavilion? Sigh…kids these days…
Anyway, I guess it was nice to see the Pacers take one of these close games…they’ve played every game close so far, I guess it’s nice to see them win at least one…even if it’s just delaying the inevitable.
During the last night’s Magic/Hawks game, I was wondering which team the Bulls would like to win to play next round. Then I realized that it doesn’t matter…they’ll likely destroy either team. I’m not surprised by a thing that I’m seeing from the Magic, by the way…weak defense, bad clutch shooting, Dwight disappearing in the final two minutes of games then giving teammates angry looks like it’s their fault, strange coaching decisions…yup…that’s the Magic. Even worse was seeing Gilbert Arenas going off to bring them back into the game…it was great because it brought them back but bad because then you knew Gilbert was going to shoot every time he touched the ball for the rest of the game since he believed he was hot…and of course he did and missed most of them in the late 4th quarter. That’s Arenas in a nutshell.
Surprised at the Hornets last night…thought they were done. Two stinkers from the Lake-show in the series. Not surprised at the Grizzlies…they look real solid and Spurs look real old…you could see it from Game 1 on.
And Heat…yup…playoff test #1 failed. Or is it good news that they played like crap and still barely lost? Hard to say…
Bulls/Pacers has been like watching Groundhogs Day…Every game it’s the same thing, only difference was the Pacers did not choke away an 18 point lead in Game 4 (ALMOST!!)…Noah fucked that play up big time at the end of the game, I was screaming at my TV, “PASS THE FUCKING BALL!!! PASS THE FUCKING BALL!!!” and somehow we end up with Boozer shooting a 3 at the end…Pathetic…Gotta close out the Pacers at the United Center on Tuesday as this series is getting kinda of annoying…
And the Ref’s as a whole (all Playoff series) have been REALLY BAD!!! Some horrible calls and missed calls…Get your head in the game Ref’s…
^Yeah, that Boozer three-pointer was really weird. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him even attempt a three, let alone hit one. Why was he even on the three line to begin with?
EDIT: I even looked it up to make sure I wasn’t way off. He’s 1 for 9 career for threes and that one the other night was his first attempted in the playoffs. Yeah…
Don’t get your hopes up…this is the NBA after all…
For the record, the play at the end of the game imploded once Rose tripped. Once he tripped, it threw the timing of the planned play all out of whack.
But what they should have done was called a timeout once they saw it all fell apart. They still had a :20 left, that they ended up eating. THey should have called the TO when Noah was standing there holding the ball at the top of the elbow.
And I’m just not quite sure what Boozer was doing on the floor at all for the last play. They should have had all perimeter shooters out there. Rose, Deng, Korver, maybe Brewer and Noah as your big man under the boards.
But let’s be honest. I think we all knew that Indy was going to take at least one game on their home floor. It would have been nice to see a sweep, but there is no way this is going six.
So then we have the rest coming because I don’t see Atlanta putting away the Magic just yet. So let Rose rest his ankle, and let the Magic and the Hawks beat the hell out of each other.
And that Heat/Celtics series looks like it’s shaping up to be one HELL of a series to watch. Personally, I think that’s going to be much more entertaining than Bulls/Hawks.
I think we get spoiled by college basketball. I mean, the NCAA tournament was full of horrible calls this year but the NBA in general seems completely rigged sometimes. I mean the officiating is either a joke or a play, you take your pick.
Agree with you there. The play was probably going to be Rose creating down the middle like usual but it got botched. Boozer could have worked but maybe with a pick and roll or something.
And Rose’s ankle may be the only thing that throws off Game 5. I doubt he’s hurt that much but they’re being pretty mysterious about it.
I’d say the Heat vs Anybody is the most entertaining series of the playoffs. They’ve been fascinating to watch all year.
And, wow, Memphis…what a third quarter. That thing was a stalemate and then the Griz put on this run SO quickly at the end of the 3rd quarter and that game was OVER. It’s weird because the last 8 beating a 1 was Golden State over Dallas but I remember being worried that Dallas could make a run at any time and beat GS in any of those games. I don’t feel it with the Spurs…once they got down in Game 4, they were DONE. The 4th quarter was an afterthought. Oh well, at least it’s nice to see my man Zach Randolph putting it together and getting some playoff success…he lived across the hall from me in his one year at Michigan State…really nice guy so I pull for him.
Hope that Kankle holds up!
Go Bulls!
now that’s more like it!
Yeah, that 3rd quarter was something else. Pretty much sealed the deal then! So rest up, watch the Magic/Hawks, and prepare for the next round.
Am I weird for thinking that Noah’s sister looks pretty hot? ![]()
no she is hot. Le Coq Sportif
Round 1 is done!
![]()
Time to rest-up and see who we play in round 2.
CONGRATS BULLS! Way to step it up last night. ![]()
Granger can go fuck himself, he called Noah “Dirty” after the game…Yeah, nice way to keep it classy after your team of bums fouled us hard all series long, then we blow them out and he gets all whinny… ![]()
Good riddance Pacers… ![]()
Joachim Noah’s dirty? That’s the first I’ve heard of that one. I notice you always hear that about teams that play good defense. The 04 Pistons were dirty. So were the Spurs. Whatever. And yeah, I remember seeing Noah’s sister at a few of his Florida games…I think she got all the pretty genes in that family.
Sadly, a boring night of b-ball last night. Hockey blew it away. And why do I think that the Lakers/Hornets series is all about what the Lakers do and nothing about what the Hornets do?
because Kobe is David Stern’s golden child/savior/ illegitimate son.
^Erm…well I meant it seems that whent the Lakers play well, the Hornets have no chance no matter how well they themselves play.
And, wow, what a night of basketball. First the Spurs surviving with the Gary Neal three to send it to OT. Just a crazy shot that he made look easy. And hey, Grizzlies, when you’re up by 3 with less than 2 seconds, just guard the three line with everyone…they’re not shooting a two. Sadly, the worst is that it was patched in from NBATV who is just using the local Grizzlies announcers…and they’re TERRIBLE. I’m usually lenient on msot announcers, especially local ones, but these guys just suck. Their play call when Neal hit the three sounded like he was calling a funeral.
And wow…if you didn’t see Kevin Durant last night, you missed a Jordan-esque performance. He knew he had to take every shot, he took all the shots and they basically all went in. The dude was unstoppable and basically single-handedly won the game. Just incredible to watch.
