haha, I was just trying to get you going. Friday was probably my least fave of the JB shows, but it was not garbage.
yeah, where the hell is Trevor?

I also retract my “THAT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!” statement when I was walking back to camp friday night at broo. I misspoke.
6.12 and 6.14 were borderline garbage
I mean, I don’t really mean that 100%. The band was tight and there were a few good jams, but I just felt like those shows were way too standard. I was bored by it at times, and that never happens with phish.
thank god for the droogz…
…and I was still riding high from Knoxville, which might be my favorite phish show attended EVAR!, so I think my expectations were a bit out of whack
knoxville rep yo hood
after listening to all the shows so far (went to pitts and alpine X2), i will have to retract my vote for pitts (My first bike in 47 shows, never thought i would see it, had to vote for it at the time)…and go with Alpine II…WOW, just F’in WOW…the second set was/is sweeeeet (and i am no fan of Wading), but the C&P, Piper, Slave…oh…my…Hawaii.
ok well to recap here is what we have as the shows of the first leg… as the others didn’t get more than 5 votes, they didn’t make the cut…
For anybody who hasn’t already… These are the shows that YOU SHOULD DEF LISTEN TO
My favorite was Deer Creek, Ill never forget that show for the rest of my life. Just the whole experience was amazing not to mention the show. The energy they had during that second set blew me away.
so am i alone on Sunday Bonnaroo?
My thoughts exactly.
I am listening to Asheville right now, and I’m just gonna go ahead and say I like it better than Knoxville. I just get chills all over every time I listen to it. I mean, it was my first Phish show, and I did feel like I was on Mars, but seriously. It’s awesome. Just listen to that Divided Sky and try not to smile.
k-ville, and my second vote went to jones beach 3. camden was a close third. that was only out of the shows ive attended and listened to. still have yet to hear deer creek/alpine
^^^^^sorry guys. i been strugglin to keep up. ever since the tour i’ve just been so happy i havent felt my normal need to get on here. as long as they’re touring that part of me is so full. then when they stop i start getting back on and talking to you guys. but i agree with adam. i had a ton of fun at jb3, though i haven’t given it a good listen since that night. maybe it was the rain…or the lsd, but i was groovin that night.
edit: i also missed JB1, but i thought friday was better than thursday
JB3 was pretty damn epic, now that I think about it more.
I like adam’s description…It was raining like a bitch, we were right next to the water, and it almost felt like the entire venue was a ship at sea…pretty sweet. I remember liking that DWD–>Twist quite a bit, too. I called “Boogie” as soon as Trey started playing that shitt…
Jones Beach, night two.
^Ahhh… so close. The answer we were actually looking for was “Night Three”.
^That is correct.
had to go with asheville
