All righty then, it’s an ancient history lesson you’d be looking for.
My first concert was kind of ambiguous. If you’re talking about the first time I heard a named band, it was actually at my senior prom in 1966. Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs of Wooly Bully fame played at our prom, and it was pretty cool.
My first regular concert was the following year when I got to hear jazz/blues guitarist Wes Montgomery. Definitely stimulated my interest in going to concerts to say the least.
YaMar was the first song I heard Phish play at the Ken Keasey Bozos on the Bus show at Darien Lakes in 97. I continue to know that I was unbelievably blessed to have had that as my first show.
The last song I heard was Scents and Subtle Sounds at the last regular arena show Phish played in Camden. Although Frankenstein was the last song of the night, I chose to leave on SASS, because like the band, I think I had had enough, and it just seemed appropriate.
