I’ve been thinking about going to see this opening night, since I want to do SOMETHING for Halloween this year, and am also a huge Kevin Smith fan. Dunno if I will, but…Seth Rogen + Kevin Smith is pretty much a dream team in my estimation.

I love Kevin Smith more than anyone I know and I must say although I do want to and will see this flick, I am a bit meh about the whole thing, wondering where did my beloved Kevin Smith humour go to?

I feel the same way. Kevin Smith WOULD be a must-see in the theaters. If you ignore his last three or four movies. He sadly hasn’t had anything decent since Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

on a side note, I got Jersey Girl from the library last week and finally gave it a watch after 5 years of “meh” and you know what?
It’s really not that bad. And actually pretty funny. Not nearly as good in comparison to some of his other movies but still good if you can look past all the Bennifer shit. Good, but indeed will probably end up the only one of his movies i don’t wind up owning.
The last Kevin Smith movie I enjoyed was Dogma, and it wasn’t even that funny, but it did have George Carlin. I saw a preview for this when I went to Religulous, and I actually thought that it looked pretty funny, but now that I hear Kevin Smith is directing it, I’m not so keen on it anymore. Darrell from the Office is great though…I’ll probably just wait and download it. KS owes me after Clerks 2.

Clerks 2 was good
well, I thought there were some funny moments in this one, especially if you have any understanding of Kevin Smith playing into his reputation of filth in an almost cartoonish way.
and Clerks 2 was easily the best sequel of the decade.

I don’t know who that main actress in those first two photographs are, but she’s absolutely gorgeous.
Clerks 2 was possibly one of the worst movies I’ve seen in a LONG time. Just horrible. Not funny, filled with cliched jokes and cliched characters and Buster said it best about it being too much of a love story…and the love story was between Randall and Dante. I nearly shut it off during the heartfelt crap in the jailcell. Just a bad bad idea.
